Dr. Serdar Bora Bayraktaroğlu

Serdar Bora Bayraktaroğlu graduated from Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty English Medicine Program in 2005. He completed his plastic surgery training between 2005 and 2011 at Şişli Etfal Hospital Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic. He also completed his training in “Microsurgery and Hand Surgery” at the same clinic. Dr. Bayraktaroğlu successfully completed a six-month “Facial Aesthetics” internship at The Facial Paralysis Institute in California-LA, USA, in January 2009.

Dr. Bayraktaroğlu, who completed his thesis in the field of microvascular surgery, has been working as a Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist since 2011.

Enriching his academic career with a doctorate in stem cells, Dr. Bayraktaroğlu is also an undergraduate student in the field of philosophy, which is his area of interest.

A member of the Turkish Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons), Dr. Bayraktaroğlu gives presentations on aesthetic plastic surgery at numerous national and international organizations and closely follows global developments in anti-aging and medical aesthetics on international platforms.

In addition to his professional work in the field of medicine, he has published a book titled “A World Without Filters Is Possible,” which shares his experiences and years of research, with the subtitle “A Plastic Surgeon’s Unconventional Sketchbook,” released in January 2024 by Doğan Kitap. His second book, which addresses striking topics related to aesthetic plastic surgery, is currently in the writing phase.
